Job summary
We are delighted to be able to offer the opportunity for an enthusiastic pharmacist to join the pharmacy team and aid in the development and delivery of pharmacy services across all the Home Treatment Teams.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will support the further development of pharmacy services to optimise the use of medicines in the mental health home treatment teams. The role will involve working with the multidisciplinary teams, locality pharmacy teams, primary care and patients to improve the use of medicines.
The post holder will be managed by the HTT Senior Clinical Pharmacist and will work jointly to develop the pharmacy services to the HTTs.
The post holder will be supported by the Trust's dedicated team of pharmacists and technicians receive regular management and clinical supervision and attend team and governance meetings.
The post holder will also deliver training in medicines management, review and update guidance in relation to safe and secure handling of medicines, undertake medicines reconciliation and participate in audit work.
