We are currently looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated B7 Nurse prescriber to join our Neurodevelopmental Team. We would consideroffering this as a preceptorship B6 moving to B7 on successful completion of non-medical prescriber training which the Trust will support.
We are a multidisciplinary team who work with young people with a diagnosed moderate to severe Learning Disability and provide assessmentand treatment for Autism and ADHD. The team provides mental health assessments for young people with a neurodevelopmental disorder andalso psychological therapies for co-morbid mental health disorders.

Main duties of the job
- To offer ADHD medication reviews for young people under the Neurodevelopmental Team and monitoring the impact of medication and ensuring safe prescribing practices are in place.
- To provide an evidence-based therapy service to children and adolescents with neurodevelopmental disorders such as Autism, ADHD and Learning Disabilities in the Neurodevelopmental Service CAMHS which is part of the Children, Young People and FamiliesDirectorate in CPFT.
- Patients will be managed on a community basis, providing assessment of neurodevelopmental disorders and/or comorbid mental healthdisorder and evidence-based therapy.
- At the same time as offering advice and consultation on patient's neurodevelopmental and mental health care to colleagues and partner agencies and to othernon-professional carers.
- To work autonomously within professional guidelines and the overall framework of the team's and Trust's policies and procedures.

- To work as an integral member of the CAMHS Neurodevelopment Community Team, providing comprehensive mental health anddiagnostic assessments, demonstrating the appropriate use,interpretation and integration of data from a variety of sources including, self-report measures, rating scales, direct and indirect structured observations and semi-structured interviews with clients, family members and others involved in the clients care. - To develop formulations of presenting problems or situations that integrate information from assessments within a coherent framework that draws upon mental health theory and evidence which incorporates developmental, interpersonal, societal, cultural and biological factors.
- To evaluate and make treatment decisions in collaboration with the CAMHS Community Team, the Multidisciplinary Team and in consultation with an accredited CAMHS therapist or qualified Clinical or Counselling Psychologist about treatment options taking into account both theoretical and therapeutic models and factors concerning historical and developmental processes that have shaped the individual, family, carers or group.

- To use routine outcome monitoring to inform clinical practice through supervision and care planning.
