Are you an experienced clinician looking for an exciting new challenge? If so, we are looking for a new ACNP to support the district nursing team in the Peterborough locality.
The Core Hours are 08.00-18.00 (main shifts are 08.00-16.00 or 10.00-18.00).
The ideal candidate will be an RGN Level1, educated to degree level or with equivalent experience and a post registration qualification relevant to community practice.
The ideal candidate will have a strong team work ethic, sense of accountability, accompanied by an ability to work under considerable pressure at times. This post is open to registered nurses with the right attributes to enhance a team.
Main duties of the job
Please note for this role you will be required to travel independently around the county meeting strict time deadlines. You will need to hold a full UK driving licence* and have use of a vehicle. You cannot use public transport for this role as this is not a reliable form of transport and will not allow you to meet service needs. As an Advanced Community Nurse Practitioner you will work autonomously, taking responsibility for care, quality and clinical activity within our Neighbourhood teams by providing clinicians within these teams advanced, professional nursing leadership and guidance, clinical advice and input in relation to the key dimensions of health care quality.
You will clinically lead and support the team to recognise, prioritise and respond appropriately, ensuring the delivery of a clinically effective service which meets the needs of individuals, families and communities in line with local and national development plans, Trust policies and procedures
