Job summary

We are currently looking for a proactive Health Care Assistant, who will join our team, here on Welney Ward in the Princess of wales Hospital.

If you are looking for a dynamic role where you are able to showcase your high level of patient care, as well as your strong team work ethic, this is a fantastic opportunity to demonstrate added value in a challenging environment.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will provide support and care for service users with physical health needs

Will provide support also to their carers within a multidisciplinary setting.

They will undertake assigned tasks under the general supervision of a registered nurse, including assisting in assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing care.

The post holder will be trained to ensure that issues of equality, diversity and rights are dealt with in accordance with good practice and legislation.

The post holder will enable patients to return to their optimum level of self care ability and mobility under the direction of therapists who will encourage an individualised rehabilitation work plan
