Job summary
We are currently looking for a rehabilitation assistant to join our well-established multidisciplinary team within Therapy and Rehabilitation Services at The National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery (NHNN) in Central London.
We are looking for people with initiative, organisational abilities and a mature approach who can work under the supervision of the multi-disciplinary rehabilitation team. You must be enthusiastic about assisting people of differing abilities and willing to help patient to undertake a range of practical aspects of personal and daily life.
Regular supervision and support for continued professional development is offered.
Main duties of the job
These posts are rotational covering the following areas; stroke, neuro-rehabilitation, , acute neurology and neuro-surgery.
Applicants should have a good general education. Previous experience in a healthcare or community care environment is essential.
Effective communication and a positive approach to the management of complex disability are essential.
