The closing date is 17 March 2026

Job summary

This is an exciting opportunity to join a first-class team providing neonatal intensive care at UCLH. UCLH is a very busy tertiary level neonatal unit which has a reputation for providing excellence of care for extremely preterm infants, neurocritical care for term infants and care for infants antenatally diagnosed with congenital cardiac abnormalities and other complex anomalies, sharing on-going care with Great Ormond Street Hospital.

We are looking for a dynamic, motivated colleague to join us as a fixed term 8PA locum for a 12 month period. We would particularly invite those with experience in neonatal echocardiography and neonatal cardiology to apply, as we are looking to increase the numbers of our neonatal consultant team with cardiology experience, but this is not an essential requirement. However, anyone applying would need to be open to developing this role in post.
