Job summary

The Cancer Clinical Trials Unit is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Clinical Trials Set-up Administrator. UCLH is one of London's key cancer centres and this role is integral to the efficient set-up of clinical trials across a range of oncology disease areas.

The post holder will be required to perform a range of administrative functions to support our Clinical Trial Set-up Specialists in effectively managing a large and diverse portfolio of pipeline research studies. A self-driven attitude and an ability to take the initiative will be vital to the success of the post.

You will be based within a supportive and friendly team of research, nursing and medical staff and will be required to liaise with external sponsors and service departments within the hospital.

Applicants should have experience of working in an administrative role, working knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and an interest in developing this skillset, ideally some knowledge of the research process and experience of working in a health care setting. However, if you have some of these criteria and a clear desire to take on this position, please apply.

You will need to have exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills and good verbal and written communication skills.
