Due to expansion of services, the Imaging Department is currently seeking a highly motivated, skilled, enthusiastic radiology department assistant to join our multidisciplinary team.
Main duties of the job
We would expect the successful applicant to demonstrate a patient centred approach and contribute to the efficient running of the imaging department, with the provision of a consistently high standard of patient care.
Previous experience of working in a healthcare environment is essential. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a patient focused, technically advanced field and is an excellent opportunity to develop new skills and knowledge.
The Imaging department is based across five sites: UCLH, The Macmillan Cancer Centre, UCH at Westmoreland Street, Royal National ENT & Eastman Dental Hospitals and Grafton Way Building.The service has a comprehensive range of state-of-the-art equipment, including MRI and CT scanners, digital Interventional Suites, digital X-ray rooms and ultrasound rooms.
The department is keen to facilitate continual professional development, and all staff are actively supported in this area. Cannulation training will be provided for the role.
