Job summary

University College London Hospitals is seeking to appoint two enthusiastic proactive consultants to join our Sleep & Ventilation team. The positions are 0.8WTE Consultant posts in Respiratory Medicine with a specialist interest in Sleep & Ventilation. There is opportunity to add additional PA dependent on discussions post appointment.

All candidates must be eligible for full GMC registration and either already be on the Specialist Register or be within six months of receiving their CCST/ CCT in both Thoracic and General [Internal] Medicine at the time of interview. Please see the person specification for further details of essential and desired criteria.

Main duties of the job

The post will include work within the Sleep and Ventilation team at UCH and the Neuromuscular Complex Care Centre team at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, Queen Square. The posts will also include General Respiratory medicine by way of outpatient clinic activity and ward cover duties.
