Job summary

Locum Consultant in Diabetes and Endocrinology - FTC 9 month contractUCLH Department of Endocrinology and Diabetes is pleased to announce a fixed term 9 month vacancy for a clinician in Diabetes. The trust is seeking an innovator who will lead service development in Diabetes and promote new initiatives in the specialty. Clinical research is an important part of the departmental portfolio and research activity will be supported within the NHS timetable.

Main duties of the job

Out patient duties will include specialist clinics for Endocrine Late Effects of Cancer including patients undergoing proton beam therapy (together with the Late effects team based in MacMillan Cancer Centre), Teenager and young adult endocrinology, Pituitary, as well as general endocrinology. The post holder is expected to attend pituitary and adrenal MDTs. Additional roles include Advice and Guidance, and contribution to teaching commitments.
