Job summary
We are seeking an experienced Admin Team Leader to join our Neurology service, specifically working with the Multiple Sclerosis team.
As the Team Leader you will be a highly motivated individual with demonstrable leadership skills and a passion for continuous improvement. You will work closely with senior management, ensuring seamless operations and effective communication. You will bring a positive attitude and commitment to training and development as well as supporting a collaborative, consistent and efficient working environment.
A willingness to learn is essential as you will be expected to gain a sound working knowledge of the MS service, its organization and processes. In addition, you will acquire an in-depth understanding of MS treatment pathways (for which training will be given).
You must demonstrate good communication skills at all levels and uphold the UCLH Trust Values at all time.
Main duties of the job
You will be expected to provide leadership, support, advice and guidance as you manage a team of administration pathway coordinators, including promoting clear expectations, direction and motivation to achieve personal and shared goals.
A good working knowledge of Excel is essential for this role as well as experience of using electronic patient record systems and significant experience in clinical administration especially working with RTT pathways and targets.
