Job summary

We have a vacancy for an enthusiastic, motivated and dynamic individual to join the breast cancer nursing team as Clinical Nurse Specialist. If you thrive on a challenge and feel that you can make a difference to the care of cancer patients this post may be for you.We offer one- stop diagnostic clinics every day, ensuring that patients with breast malignancies and those with benign disease receive the highest standard of care and support from the time of diagnosis and throughout their treatment pathway. Our breast surgeons offer a range of oncoplastic procedures, working closely with other providers in the network. The multi disciplinary team provides seamless care to all patients from diagnosis through treatment to living with and beyond cancer; care is underpinned through out by care form specialist nursesYou will gain experience in caring for a wide variety of patients, including those referred from breast screening, second opinions alongside those presenting symptomatically. You will be involved in developing nursing practice with a particular focus on enhancing recovery from breast surgery as well as developing services to meet the survivorship and rehabilitative aspects of cancer care.

Main duties of the job

We are seeking to recruit a highly motivated individual with excellent organisational skills and relevant post registration experience. You will be required to have significant experience in the field of breast cancer nursing. We require someone who can work both autonomously and as part of a team with excellent communication skills been essential. You must have appropriate post registration qualification and experience.If you have experience of breast surgery or cancer care and are committed to providing excellence within a multi-disciplinary team we would be delighted to hear from you.
