Job summary
The Department of Urology at University College Hospital is looking to recruit a highly motivated and dedicated consultant to work in the Functional, Reconstruction and Adolescent Urology team alongside the Robotic Uro-oncology service.
The successful candidate will have dual expertise in both functional reconstructive urology and robotic pelvic surgery. This is exciting opportunity to deliver excellent quality patient care while also developing the robotic service within a highly specialised urology department.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will work a 7PA job plan with clinics, theatres, MDT, SPA and Admin time.
The post-holder will be responsible for ensuring that activities undertaken are subject to robust governance arrangements that follow best practice. Patient safety, quality of care and clinical outcomes are expected to be at the centre of all aspects of operational management of the Division.

- Eligible for full UK GMC Registration and possess FRCS (Urol) or equivalent
- On GMC Specialist Register in relevant specialty, or at the time of interview within 6 months of expected date of CCT NB: Non UK trained doctors must be on the GMC register and Specialist Register in relevant specialty by date of interview.
- Clinical knowledge commensurate with post CCT/ fellowship training in functional, reconstructive and adolescent urology and robotic pelvic/urology surgery
- Knowledge of Clinical Governance framework of NHS
