They will be expected to take on a training role to more junior resident doctor staff. In SDEC (Ambulatory Care), they will review patients with urgent clinical needs and engage in safe discharge and follow up planning.During the scheduled Self-Directed Time (SDT), this is time for appropriate Continuing Professional Development (CPD). This post is not formally recognised for training but applicants may wish to keep a portfolio during their fellowship that can be used as evidence of 6 months experience in acute/general medicine.
