Job summary
  We are seeking one experienced Registered Mental Health Nurses to lead a team of Mental Health Nurses and Mental Health Care Assistants to deliver excellent mental health nursing care to our patients. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the team as they carry out the core functions of assessment and care planning of patients who require intensive one-to-one nursing support that have been admitted to UCLH. 
  Main duties of the job
  The post holder will work alongside the Matron for Enhanced Therapeutic Observations and Care (ETOC) to lead and support a team of Mental Health Nurses, providing clinical support and supervision to Band 6 Mental Health Nurses and Mental Health Care Assistants who in turn will provide mental health nursing support to patients who have been admitted to hospital wards and require close and supportive observations.A key part of the of role will involve teaching, education, and support to the nursing and medical teams in the hospital. We are seeking candidates who are comfortable and confident in sharing their expertise through teaching and multi-disciplinary working. The post holder will be expected to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care. The post holder will work on a shift basis (daytimes only) allocating resources and ensuring oversight and support of all patients requiring enhanced observations
