An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the UCLH Nutrition and Dietetic team as a Band 6 Paediatric Dietitian.The successful post holder will work as part of a specialist paediatric multidisciplinary team, and form part of a group of specialist AHP's including Speech and Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists.
Working alongside the paediatric dietetic team, you will collaborate to deliver exceptional care for our patients. Strong communication, negotiation, and teamwork skills are essential for success in this role.
The post holder will form part of a large Nutrition & Dietetic Team spanning University College London Hospital, The National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, Charles Dent Unit and Westmoreland Street.

Main duties of the job
The post holder will provide dietetic support to inpatient paediatric wards which include enteral feeding and allergy patients, TRACCS (Treatment and Rehabilitation of Adolescents and Children with Complex Conditions Service), and two outpatient clinics each week: paediatric allergy and paediatric general clinics.
Provision of assessment, management and education for paediatric patients requiring specialist dietetic and nutrition intervention by using evidence-based practice and conforming to best practice guidelines.
Assisting in provision of education and training to dietitians, dietetic assistants, student dietitians and other healthcare professionals (HCP's) in nutrition and dietetic specialities to facilitate continuous learning and development.
