Job summary
We are seeking two dedicated and experienced Registered Mental Health Nurses to support the delivery of mental health nursing and enhanced therapeutic observation and care (ETOC) to UCLH inpatients. Alongside the ETOC Matron and Senior RMNs you will lead and support a team of healthcare assistants to provide mental health nursing support to patients who have been admitted to hospital wards and require close supportive observations and intensive one-to-one nursing support
Main duties of the job
A key part of the of role will involve teaching, education, and support to the nursing and medical and allied health teams. We are seeking candidates who are comfortable and confident in sharing their expertise through teaching and multi-disciplinary working. The post holder will be expected to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care. The post holder will work on a shift basis (daytimes only) allocating resources and ensuring that all close observations throughout the hospital are covered
