Job summary
This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on patient care across our hospital by working to support the delivery of care to patients requiring enhanced observation and therapeutic support.
We are looking for an experienced and self motivated individual who is able to support the enhanced care team to deliver direct individualised and personalised patient care. The postholder will support junior staff and the wider care team to implement the delivery of quality nursing care, contributing to the physical, psychological, social, recreational and spiritual care in a recovery- focused way.
The postholder will lead on ensuring that the fundamentals of care are met - nutrition, hydration, hygiene, comfort, emotional and social support - through therapeutic engagement and working to address any issues that arise.
Main duties of the job
Maintain a high standard of clinical work when carrying out nursing procedures.
Responsible for the safe custody of medication, including checking and administration.
Ensure compliance with our clinical governance framework, you will motivate colleagues, champion service user safety and dignity and drive continuous improvement.

- Registered RMN Part 1, 2 or relevant section of the register
- Evidence of professional/clinical knowledge in area supplemented by specialist clinical, managerial training and CPD
- Mentorship/Teaching Qualification
