The Breast Imaging Department is currently seeking a highly motivated, skilled, enthusiastic health care assistant to join our multidisciplinary team.
We would expect the successful applicant to demonstrate a patient centred approach and contribute to the efficient running of the imaging department, with the provision of a consistently high standard of patient care.
Previous experience of working in a healthcare environment is essential. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a patient focused, technically advanced field and is an excellent opportunity to develop new skills and knowledge.
Main duties of the job
To assist with the running of the Breast imaging Service.
To assist Radiologists during interventional procedures
To assist Radiographers during Interventional Procedures
To prepare patients for their examinations
To teach junior members of staff, students and newly recruited Mammographers the Role of the RDA in Breast
