Main duties of the job

As a deputy play and youth services manager you will co- lead a sub team of the larger team, leading on staffing, rotas and service delivery. Staff support including direct line management for a group of staff including 121s, recruitment, health roster and leadership responsibly.

Providing day-to-day support to team members in clinical areasorganising service delivery cover and planningwill be able to continue to expand and develop the play and youth service to grow and improve.

You will have extensive proven experience of working with children and young people in a healthcare setting and be able to deal sensitively with families and colleagues in a fast-paced environment. You will be able to effectively prioritise patients and your workload autonomously. You will work as part of a supportive team where play and recreation are valued and respected as an integrated part of children /young people's treatment and your contribution to the patient's pathway will be highly valued.
