The National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery are seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated Therapeutic Plasma Exchange specialist Nurse. This is an exciting opportunity in a pioneering hospital which is expanding and developing new areas in research, service development and education.

Main duties of the job
We are looking for an experienced band 6 Nurse who has Neuroscience and Therapeutic Plasma Exchange experience. You must demonstrate nurse leadership skills; have outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to lead on promoting high quality care for all. Demonstrate first-rate organisational and multitasking skills and the ability to prioritise effectively and efficiently in a highly skilled environment. The successful applicant will demonstrate an ability to support, train, develop and educate others; work well autonomously and as a team member in a team. You must hold a 'teaching in the clinical setting' certificate or equivalent and have recent experience in acute neurology setting or a relevant specialty. The Neuroscience course would be an advantage.
You will be working to support the Departmental Senior Nurse in managing the service, and therefore experience in department management is essential. We are looking for someone with excellent clinical acute care skills who can work alongside staff to transfer this knowledge and skill set.
