The haematology service at UCH has 98 inpatient acute haematology/BMT beds across two sites - Grafton Way Building and University College Hospital.

Main duties of the job
We are a nurse led service at the cutting edge of nursing developments. Our wards are nurse led and are supported by a nursing infrastructure including a dedicated nursing central venous access team, nursing chemotherapy team and a nursing educational team. Not only does this provide our ward nurses with opportunities to develop quickly, it gives them the time to care properly for patients. Our nursing ward ratios are on average 1 nurse to 3 or 4 patients.
GWB 4East is a 14 bedded ward where you will have the opportunity to look after haematology patients with infectious diseases undergoing different types of treatments, including chemotherapy, CAR-T and stem cell transplant.
