Job summary
University College London Hospitals is seeking to appoint a Locum Consultant in Urogynaecology (8 PAs) within the Urogynaecology and Pelvic Floor Unit for an initial term of 6 months.
The Urogynaecology and Pelvic Floor Unit is a BSUG-accredited tertiary service with a commitment to excellence in multidisciplinary clinical care, surgical innovation, and high-quality training.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and talented individual who wishes to join our well-established and dedicated team. The Urogynaecology and Pelvic Floor Unit comprises two consultant subspecialists, Anthony Kupelian and Arvind Vashisht, our Clinical Fellow Hara Koukouli, Advanced Nurse Practitioner Kate Welford, Clinical Nurse Specialists Ann Lyons and Princy Villoth, and Lily Chiffey, who leads our Women's Heath Physiotherapy team.

Main duties of the job
As a tertiary referral unit, we provide care for patients with recurrent prolapse, combined rectal and genital prolapse, and concurrent urinary and anal incontinence. The successful applicant will work within a long-established multidisciplinary team, including colleagues in functional and reconstructive urology, colorectal surgery, and neurogastroenterology.
The post will comprise 8 sessions each week, including outpatient clinics, multidisciplinary meetings, surgical operating lists, and inpatient ward rounds. The post holder will also participate in the gynaecology consultant on-call rota and should possess the required clinical skills to respond to gynaecological emergencies.
