Job summary
As one of the largest and highest profile Foundation Trusts in the UK, UCLH NHS Foundation Trust comprises the state-of-the-art University College Hospital and six leading-edge specialist hospitals, providing world-class acute and specialist services locally, nationally and internationally. Due to the external promotion of the current postholder, we are now looking for a Deputy Director of Strategy to join our team.
This post has a high level of devolved autonomy, providing both strategic and project leadership across the Trust to ensure the safe and effective delivery of agreed programmes of work. They will provide leadership to a well developed team and will have responsibility for ensuring that we maintain excellent external relationships across North Central London. They will also deputise formally for the Director of Strategy, attending Executive and Board level meetings as and when required.
Main duties of the job
As the successful candidate, you will have experience of implementing large scale projects and be able to manage complex change with multiple stakeholders. With a proven track record of delivering both operational and strategic change, the successful candidate will also bring significant senior management experience, coupled with a desire to help transform and improve front line services.
