Job summary

An excellent opportunity has arisen for someone with office administrative and invoicing experience within a procurement environment.

The suitable postholder must have good communication skills and be able to deal with a variety of queries from suppliers and from within the number of hospital pharmacy sites at UCLH.They should be enthusiastic with proven organisational skills and be able to work accurately to meet deadlines

The successful candidate will work closely within a multidisciplinary team which includes pharmacy technicians, administrative staff, pharmacists and suppliers

Main duties of the job

Key responsibilities will be:

o Ensure the day to day administrative duties are carried outo Accurately processing invoices daily ready for weekly AP upload fileo Ensure complex corrections to invoices/credits are dealt with promptlyo Support the training of bank staff, rotational staff PreRegistration Pharmacy Technician & the induction training of Stores & Distribution staff

The post holder will be based at Business & Distribution Centre ,14, Brewery Road N7 9NH

  • Regional procurement training course for pharmaceuticals or equivalent experience
  • 5 GCSE's inc. English & Mathematics grade C or above

  • Dip Purchasing & Supply (Foundation) or equivalent experience

  • Extensive experience in dealing with a range of customers
  • Accurate computerised record keeping and good keyboard skills
