An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Nursing and Midwifery Workforce Team for an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to apply for the role of a Workforce Utilisation Nurse.

The Workforce Utilisation Nurse is a new fixed term post that will be key in delivering the workforce priorities as part of Nursing and Midwifery Strategy and instrumental in the development and implementation of the workforce strategy.

Main duties of the job

As a Workforce Utilisation Nurse, you will support the Senior Nurse for Workforce Utilisation and Lead Nurse for Nursing and Midwifery Workforce to provide a high level of clear and visible leadership. You will be responsible for the overall clinical and operational day to day embedding of best practice in rostering and the delivery of its associated benefits. You will also be involved in the continued development and improvement of the safer staffing agenda and be a visible presence to all wards/departments.

In return you will have the opportunity to further develop your leadership and quality improvement skills, working closely with leaders in the Trust.
