Job summary
We are seeking highly motivated, energetic and enthusiastic Band 3 HCSWto join our Hyper Acute Stroke Unit (HASU) and Acute Stroke Unit (ASU) team at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery.

Main duties of the job
As a HCSW in stroke, we will assist with training in vital signs and neurological observations, recording ECGs, bladder scanning, cannulation, venepuncture and many more clinical skills,supported by our dedicated practice educator.
We are looking for individuals who arefull time and flexible (including evenings, shift work and nights)as you may be moved to a different ward/ department at any time, during your working week. You will be expected to integrate quickly with an established team of staff to deliver quality care.In return you will gain excellent clinical experience; a range of attractive benefits, education and development opportunities for staff are available. We will offer you a structured Induction programme during which you will learn more about the Trust and your role.You will be required to complete the National Care Certificate in the first 3 months of employment.
