12 month Fixed Term Contract/Secondment

Are you passionate about fairness, job evaluation governance, and creating a positive experience for staff during times of change? We're looking for an experienced HR professional to lead our Job Evaluation and Employee Services Hub at London Ambulance Service NHS Trust.

This is a critical role at the centre of how we design, evaluate, and assure roles across the organisation--supporting both workforce planning and meaningful change. You will help ensure our people experience fairness, transparency, and timely support.

Main duties of the job

As the Job Evaluation & Redeployment Lead, you will:

  • Lead and manage the full NHS Job Evaluation (JE) process, ensuring JE administration, panels, governance, and compliance with Agenda for Change principles.
  • Oversee the Trust's Employee Services Hub, ensuring accurate Transactional HR functions, skills matching, timely coordination, and effective communication with HR and recruitment colleagues.
  • Build and maintain strong partnershipswith Trade Unions, internal stakeholders, and national JE networks to support best practice and continuous improvement.
  • Provide expert HR advice on job role design, JE outcomes, organisational change, and workforce implications.
  • Ensure robust data quality, including maintaining the Redeployment Risk Register and overseeing JE panel administration and scheduling.
  • Lead improvements and innovation, contributing to national JE projects and representing the Trust at Community of Practice Meetings.

This role plays a vital part in supporting staff at risk of redundancy and maintaining confidence in how roles are evaluated and matched across the organisation.
