Hazardous Area Response Team (HART) Paramedic - HART East and West sitesApplications are invited from existing registered B6 Paramedics to join the London Ambulance Service NHS Trust's Hazardous Area Response Team based at our West site, Clock Tower Road in Isleworth TW7 and at our East site, Cody Road in Canning Town E16.
This recruitment process is to fill existing vacancies and to recruit to a Pool to cover future vacancies up to a period of 12 months from this recruitment outcome.
Main duties of the job
HART Paramedics extend the Ambulance Service's reach into hazardous environments, bringing high quality care directly to patients in challenging environments
They receive training in high-risk operations through national and local courses and others to meet the HART Capabilities. This places a requirement on each staff member to attend 37.5hrs of training every 7 weeks.
HART Paramedics are expected to work in highly pressurised environments and staff will need to be mentally and physically resilient to undertake the role.

Ongoing training
