Job summary

Are you a passionate and experienced improver with a proven ability to apply systematic methods to improvement problems? Come and join the Quality Improvement Team at London Ambulance Service NHS Trust (LAS).The Improvement Advisor is part of a central team that acts as the Trust's internal resource for quality improvement methodology and will be responsible for supporting QI projects at various organisational levels.

Main duties of the job

Oversee the implementation of quality improvement strategies locally, to ensure that the Trust has processes in place, supported by evidence, to meet its statutory and regulatory requirements, and strategic intentions in relation to QI - Establish and lead quality improvement projects and programmes.- Coordinate and act as main point of contact for specified departments/ directorates for improvement advice and support.- Act as an internal organisational expert on the use of data for improvement.- Support the development and implementation of QI strategies across the Trust.- Provide expert knowledge and advice on quality improvement and work with key stakeholders/ departments across the Trust to develop quality improvement projects which support continuous improvement.- Present to and work with senior manager on quality improvement, ensuring results and activity is communicated and managed through to local areas.- Support in the development and delivery of in-house QI training- Organise and facilitate QI workshops- To represent the trust at internal and external events- To develop as a member of the trust's internal QI teaching faculty
