Job summary
This role is a fixed 12 month contract to cover Maternity Leave. The role will be required to oversee the delivery of major capital projects within the Strategic Assets & Property Directorate, mainly estates. You will line manage a team of project and programme managers and be the point of contact for a team of agency and contracted project team.
Main duties of the job
As a programme manager and member of the senior leadership team for the directorate you will be the face of the programme delivery of a number of high profile building projects. You will be required to write regular reports to the Director of Finance, chair programme boards, meet with the project team on site when required and complete project governance paperwork.
You will work closely with the Head of Fleet, Estates, Logistics and Make Ready to ensure a collaborate approach to projects and represent the directorate at various meetings both internal and external.
