Main duties of the job

If you'd like to be part of building a world-class ambulance service for a world-class city, the key skills and experience required are:

Hold either a Diploma or Degree qualification from an approved education provider
To be eligible to register as a paramedic with the Health Care Professions Council (or already be registered) and have successfully completed a HCPC approved paramedic programme
Have demonstrable evidence of clinical practice within at least the last 24 months
Possess a current full driving licence. On arrival in the UK you will need to be able to convert your licence to a UK licence and obtain C1 entitlement to allow you to drive larger vehicles
Have no more than three demerit points or equivalent in your home country

Our training centres are based in Outer London, your starting salary will be £32,720 inclusive of high cost allowance supplement (HCAS). You will remain on this salary if posted Outer London. If posted Inner London, your salary will increase to £34,089.

After successful completion of the NQP programme (2 years), your salary will increase to £40,701 (Outer London) / £42,471 (Inner London) inclusive of HCAS.

Unsociable hours and overtime allowance is in addition to this.
