The London Ambulance Charity has a growing annual income and a short history of pro-actively fundraising and seeking support from the broader community. The Trust Board has recently approved an ambitious 5-year strategy for the Charity, which includes creating a dedicated Charity team to oversee the charitable funds.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for an experienced corporate fundraising professional with hands on experience of securing five figure partnerships to join our team. As a small, dynamic team, we have big ambitions to build on this income stream and grow our corporate partnerships portfolio in the coming years.The role will entail identifying, researching, managing, and growing a portfolio of corporate partnerships to help us deliver our fundraising ambitions. You will need to be a confident new opportunity-seeker, and by joining us you will find yourself working with amazing teams across London Ambulance Service.The successful candidate will need to be proactive, well organised and with a strong interest in developing new business pitches and ideas. You will require excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work effectively with multiple teams across the charity and wider organisation. You will have a wide range of experience in securing different corporate income and support, from Charity of the Year and strategic partnerships to sponsorship and pro bono support.This role is a wonderful opportunity to hone your skills and experience in corporate fundraising to make a huge impact on staff, volunteers and patients of London Ambulance Service.

- The Corporate Fundraising Manager will work with the Head of Charity Development to plan and deliver the growth of fundraising income in line with the plans and ambitions of the Charity Strategy. They will be dynamic and committed, with successful experience of relationship management and charity fundraising.
- The post of Corporate Fundraising Manager is an important link between the London Ambulance Charity and the local business community. With such a wealth of industries operating within the catchment area of the charity, the role is to engage these businesses to play an active role in providing resource for fulfilling charitable objectives. Key responsibilities will include strategic development, new business development, account management, budgetary control, networking to help build an active profile for (the charity) as an excellent partner for local businesses and producing income.
- The post holder will require good knowledge of corporate fundraising and considerable energy and enthusiasm that will inspire local companies and their staff to choose (the charity) as their preferred charity to support.
- The purpose of this role is to devise and implement fundraising ideas and activities that will generate funds to agreed targets. The post holder must be able to go out to businesses, create and network with senior management and individuals, offer appropriate high quality fundraising options and lift the profile of the charity. Working closely with other charity colleagues, the ideal candidate will have an outgoing personality, enthusiasm and confidence in working within a corporate environment.
