Band 3 Admin Apprentice
We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and confident individual to work in a busy Administration Team.
The post holder will be based at Edgware Community Hospital and will be providing administration support to Barnet Talking Therapies Team in Barnet.
Barnet Talking Therapies Team provides psychological / psychotherapeutic services to residents with a GP in the borough, over the age of 16.
Theidealcandidate will have:
Excellent administration skills
Working knowledge of IT systems
Excellent competencies in managing service user requests in a professional & non-judgemental manner
Strong abilities in dealing with clients over the phone and in person and competing priorities
Have good attention to detail
Be a team player& extremely reliable
Business Administration Apprenticeship
Throughout the duration of this role, the postholder will be required to enrol onto and complete the Business Admin Level 3 Apprenticeship. This programme will be completed within working hours in which allocated study time will be agreed with the line manager of the postholder. The apprenticeship will run for 15-18 months with the postholder gaining a Level 3 Nationally recognised apprenticeship qualification.

To prioritise and organise own workload, acting on own initiative and being proactive about change.
To open post/ emails and action appropriately e.g. prioritising referrals that indicate risk; ensuring important information is sent to senior members of in a timely manner.
To organise and maintain office stationery supplies.
To organise and take notes at meetings as required.
To provide a general administrative function for the team members as directed by senior management.
To work collaboratively with other team members.
To welcome clients attending appointments and respond to any queries.
To be able to manage difficult situations in a calm and empathetic manner in person and on the telephone.
To maintain and operate the client clinical data systems.
To contact clients to arrange appointments.
To be flexible in approach to work.
To undertake annual appraisal with Line Manager and to attend meetings and training courses as required.
