Job summary
We are looking to appoint a Band 6 Mental Health Nurse in Enfield Wellbeing Clinic with a passion for working with people with mental health condition. This is a well-established, high performing team delivering compassionate care in the community to adults who suffer from mental health problem.
Post holder will be a Clozapine trained nurse as well as experience in administering depot injections. Post holder will also be diverse in background, highly motivated, friendly, agile, flexible and responsive.
Be responsible for the day-to-day, running of the Wellbeing Clinics including all administration, clinical services and ongoing clinic maintenance and upkeep, in line with legal and national care minimum standards in the legislation for healthcare.
Provide support to all staff connected to the service, including clinical, administrative, management and maintenance teams.
Contribute to the business development and sustainability of the Wellbeing Clinic whilst working pro-actively as part of integrated team to ensure safe and effective implementation of service developments relevant to the team.
Ensure the clinic operates in a safe, effective & efficient way as part of the whole system of mental health services and foster a culture that encourages and enables individuals to have an active role in identifying, planning, and meeting their individual needs.
Main duties of the job
- Running clozapine, depot and physical clinic.
- Outreach support for patient unable to attend clinic.
- Deputise for Team manager.
- Chair Team meetings.
- Collate and input patient data on RIO.
- Follow up clinic DNA's
- Working in close collaboration with Core integrated care Team,.
- Review and make referrals to and and from the Wellbeing Clinic.
- Medication reconciliation
- Ensure prescriptions are up to date.
- Order medication in timely manner.
- Compile Clozapine dispensing list in time for Pharmacy dispensing.
- Day to day smooth running of all clinic as necessary.
