Are you an experienced healthcare professional passionate about supporting individuals with eating disorders? North London NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a dedicated Intensive Outpatient Lead to join our Eating Disorder Outpatients team at St. Ann's Hospital.
In this pivotal role, you will take operational and clinical management responsibility for the Outpatient Intensive Pathway (IOP), a vital 8-week program aimed at providing specialist treatment for high-risk patients and preventing inpatient admissions.
Main duties of the job
Operational Leadership: Manage and coordinate the IOP, ensuring the smooth delivery of services for patients and professionals involved.
Patient Care: Lead close monitoring clinic, manage referrals and discharges, escalate risk, plan admissions and ensure effective treatment and risk management for a high-risk patient group.
Clinical Expertise: Provide a range of nursing skills to develop, co-ordinate assessments, care plans in collaboration with the multi-disciplinary team.
Multidisciplinary Collaboration: This role involves working closely with members of the multi-disciplinary team at St Ann's alongside other services, offer supervision and overview of professionals working in IOP.
Pathway Development: Contribute to the ongoing development of the intensive outpatient pathway, including recruitment, KPIs, protocols, guidelines. Strong organizational, communication, and multidisciplinary team leadership skills.
Communication & Engagement: Liaise with GPs, CMHTs, hospitals, families, and other agencies to ensure a coordinated approach to care.
