Job summary
Responsible to lead, manage and coordinate the ongoing work and development of all business administrative staff in the Haringey Division: using business and operational skills to ensure that services areas meet their required performance targets, in line with national requirements, local strategies and objectives.
To ensure that services are high quality and best practice. To interpret government and Trust policies and initiatives into local best practice. To liaise with other Borough Business Administration Managers within the Trust to ensure there is parity and consistency across Directorates/Localities. The role requires change management skill and an ability to develop others.
Directly impact on patient experience and outcome and the role is essential to the functioning of the service by working as part of a team to ensure we deliver the highest standards of administrative support possible.
The post holder will also be responsible for overseeing governance arrangements within the division (including records/complaints/incident management), supporting data and performance management within the admin team, IT services (including digital dictation/EPR, etc), and local induction procedures.
