Job summary
This advertising is appointing two individuals will work as an integral part of the team liaising with clients, GPs, other Trust and healthcare service providers, Social Services, and various internal and external agencies.
The post holder will ensure the provision of comprehensive administrative support service to designated teams that effectively supports the delivery of a quality healthcare service in line with National and local policy.
The post-holder will be expected to take a lead role in the ensuring a seamless administrative support service is provided to the department and to work without immediate supervision and to ensure that all duties are carried out to a high standard in liaison with clinical, managerial and administrative staff.
To line manage junior administrative support staff as required.
You will be required to use your initiative in all aspects of secretarial and clerical work to efficiently prioritise work and meet deadlines, as the service line requires.
Your duties will encompass regular liaison regarding the keeping of the appointments diary typing of letters and reports, taking and transcribing minutes at meetings as necessary, telephone liaison as necessary with external agencies and making appointments at the request of the service. You will assist in the maintenance of records, filing, faxing and photocopying and any duties essential to the comprehensive secretarial support service you will provide.
Main duties of the job
GP Letters - to create letters to the individual's GP notifying them of the circumstances and inviting them to consider a consultation with their patient to discuss a personal safety plan. To ensure KPI deadlines are met.
Updates following Section 136 MHA - For admin to follow up on the outcomes and record them effectively on local systems and to ensure we help support the local KPI's.
Updates following a Suicide Injury attempt - For admin to help with enquiries to establish the likelihood of future presentations and ongoing risks, if the person has been admitted or released and details obtained of any further care plan pathway.
