Job summary
The Digital Project Manager will be responsible for delivering an agreed portfolio of projects/programmes that provide strategic or operational value through the application of technology aligned to the Trust Strategy. Projects will cover clinical systems, IT technical, transformational/business change, application software or a combination of all elements. This project is to deliver 0365 to Camden and Islington Trust.
The role will need to work closely with all other parts of Digital Services as well as the Trust's managed service provider (Atos) and other key suppliers to ensure the successful and seamless implementation of digital projects. Particular importance will be the need to work collaboratively with Trust operational and clinical colleagues, project sponsors, stakeholders, technology providers and all other personnel who have a role to play in delivery of the agreed business outcomes and benefits. Above all, the successful post holder must demonstrate the highest levels of a customer service at all times with clear focus on delivery.
Main duties of the job
- Responsibility for the management and delivery a portfolio of projects or programmes in the Digital workspace throughout the project life cycle ensuring delivery against stated outcomes
- Work with business colleagues to ensure all activity is delivered as an integrated piece of change covering people, process, data and technology supporting the business case. Lead the co-ordination across all other parts of Digital in successfully delivering new projects/programmes and digital initiatives for the Trust
- Lead in the development of improved digital project management disciplines through working with third party providers and key stakeholders. Actively adhere to the project delivery framework covering life cycle management, documentation, prioritisation, governance etc. that can flex appropriate to the degree of business change
- Build effective relationships with key suppliers establishing confidence and respect in often-contentious pressurised situations
- Actively manage the relevant capital budget associated with the assigned portfolio of projects/programmes with a focus on control and maximising value for money.
- Deliver 0365 in a timely manner overseeing the project delivery

- Educated to degree level in a computer based discipline or relevant subject or equivalent experience
- Recognized professional IT/project management qualification e.g. relevant BCS certification, Prince 2

- Evidence of continuing professional development

EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE

- Evidence of continuing professional development
- Recognized professional Project management qualification.
- Experience of operating in a complex, corporate Microsoft based environment across multiple sites and in excess of 3,000 users
