We are recruiting into a number of Band 5Nursing vacancies across the inpatient forensic mental Health wards.
There are excellent training and leadership opportunities for all staff nurses with a structured development program as well as a range of clinical specialist training such as trauma informed care, CBT, motivational interviewing, DBT and QI training. We specifically provide preceptorship programs for all newly qualified nurses, and also run group supervision programs and band-5 development forums for our nurses.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for nurses with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, have the ability to negotiate, problem solve and influence, able to work under pressure while remaining calm and maintaining quality, have a flexible and creative approach to problem solving and are physically fit and able to complete control and restraint (TAMVA/PMCB) & manual handling training and able to carry out physical activities to join our teams of nurses within our inpatient forensic wards. We are encouraging all qualified nurses (experienced and new) to apply. You do not need to possess any forensic nursing experience as training will be provided to all successful candidates.
