NHS Enfield Talking Therapies (previously Lets Talk IAPT Enfield) is a well established service with CBT therapists, Psychological wellbeing practitioners, counsellors, trainees and administrators, offering psychological interventions for individuals over 16 years who have an Enfield GP. We are a large team with a strong track record of clinical excellence, staff retention and development and support for staff wellbeing. This is your opportunity to join our service in a senior role.
Applicants will be experienced CBT therapists who have worked in NHS Talking Therapies (formerly IAPT) and in a socially deprived and multi-cultural setting. You will also have experience of providing formal supervision and leading or participating in an area of service development.

Postholders will be expected to carry a small clinical caseload.
Working patterns: We operate a hybrid service model with staff combining remote working and working on site at our team bases. This post holder will also be expected to follow this pattern. The post holder will be expected to also support senior clinician cover for out of hours clinics offered by the service, currently upto 8.00 pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Main duties of the job
1. To work as part of the Senior Management Team lead by the Clinical Lead, ensuring that the service continues to deliver excellent clinical services across the borough.2. To provide line management and clinical supervision to staff.3. To provide specialist assessments of clients referred to the team based upon the appropriate use, interpretation and integration of complex data from a variety of sources including psychological self-report measures, rating scales, direct and indirect structured observations and semi-structured interviews with clients, family members and othersinvolved in the client's care.4. To formulate and implement plans for the psychological treatment and/or management of a client's emotional and mental health problems, based upon an appropriate conceptual framework of the client's problems, and employing methods based upon evidence of efficacy, across the full range of care settings.5. To be responsible for implementing a range of psychological interventions for individuals, groups families and carers , adjusting and refining psychological formulations, drawing upon different explanatory models and maintaining a number of provisional hypotheses.6. To evaluate and make decisions about treatment options taking into account both theoretical and therapeutic models and highly complex factors concerning historical and developmental processes that have shaped the individual, family or group.

- Core mental health professional training in Clinical Psychology, Counselling Psychology, Nursing, Social Work, Psychotherapy or equivalent, together with post degree diploma level training in CBT
- Completion of a recognised High Intensity supervision course provided by an IAPT approved Higher Education provider (e.g. Royal Holloway)
- BABCP Accreditation as a CBT Therapist
Desirable
- Pre-qualification training and qualifications in research methodology, staff training and/or other fields of applied psychology or equivalent
