Job summary

The post holder with the Chief Nursing Officer and Deputy Chief Nursing Officer operates within the corporate division.

The post holder and their team's team have responsibility and accountability under the direction of the Deputy Chief Nursing Officer for quality, performance and strategic development of the Division and the wider WWL organisation.

The Director of Nursingwill work collaboratively across the corporate and clinical divisions with colleagues to achieve the Trust's financial objectives and ensuring that the Trust operates with the needs of its patients as its highest priority.

Main duties of the job

Director of Nursing responsible for development and implementation of Trust policies and strategy designed to achieve quality in health care including Patient Experience and Engagement, Voluntary Services, Harm Free Care, Patient Relations and Complaints, Harm Free Care, and Equality, Diversity and Inclusion for patients and the wider system.
