Job summary
We are looking to recruit a motivated and enthusiastic Staff Nurse to work 24.66 hours per week. The current working hours are Monday-Friday day shifts working 07:00-20:00, no weekends, Bank Holidays or night shifts
You will be based on D Ward/Orthopaedic Admissions Unit at Wrightington Hospital. Both areas are Admission and Day Case Units for Lower Limb Orthopaedic Surgery.
Candidates will only be shortlisted if they have a valid NMC registration.

Main duties of the job
The successful candidates duties and responsibilities will be to
- Manage the admission of patients undergoing Orthopaedic surgery.
- Provide pre and post operative care to Orthopaedic Patients.
- Facilitate Nurse-led Discharge for Day Cases.
- Administer medication and effective communication with the MDT.
