Job summary
This exciting new role will provide an opportunity for the post holder to lead, develop and support the implementation of high quality, evidence based digital workforce solutions which positively impact upon the employment experience of our people: staff, clinicians and managers across the Trust, freeing up managers and staff to care for patients.
The role will be integral to leading the development of, and further enhancing, the Trust's workforce informatics infrastructure in response to organisational, service and workforce needs.
Main Base: Buckingham Row, Wigan. With hybrid working arrangements and Travel to all Trust sites required.
Please Note: This role is PENDING AFC SALARY BANDING APPROVAL; therefore, salary cannot be fully confirmed until the Banding is approved.
Main duties of the job
This is an exciting opportunity to join our People Services Team, helping to develop and transform our digital workforce solutions across the trust.
The postholder will work closely with the Associate Director of Workforce Transformation and Planning to support the development and implementation of digital workforce solutions and workforce transformation programmes. The post holder will have leadership responsibilities for the Workforce Analyst and other designated staff within the team.
The successful candidate will have good project management skills with the ability to effectively undertake complex data analysis to develop workforce reports and dashboards. Excellent communication skills will be required to clearly and concisely interpret and present complex workforce data to a diverse range of audiences.
Working collaboratively with a number of key stakeholders, the postholder will play a key role in supporting subject matter experts, clinical leads and colleagues across the HR and Staff Experience team in relation to workforce analytics and digital workforce solutions.
