The post holder will work with a great supportive, high performing, multidisciplinary team. The post holder will support specialist clinicians, patients their families and carers, in providing excellent care.
Your role as a Healthcare Support Worker is to support our Nursing teams deliver the best care possible to our patients and contribute to the smooth running of our wards and departments.
You must have an NVQ Level 2/3 in Health and Social Care and evidence of Maths and English.
Evidence of qualifications will be requested at interview and during onboarding checks.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be responsible for assisting in all clinical areas of Dermatology, including theatre.
Collaborating with clinical specialist dealing with therapeutic and diagnostic treatments.
To communicate with patients, families and carers whilst providing support and advise.
To develop skills, knowledge and competencies relevant to Dermatology.
