Job summary

Due to the retirement of the existing post holder, there is an exciting opportunity to join the Division of Specialist Services. The portfolio to be covered will be primarily the Private Patient service however there will be an expectation to support the wider running of the Division including trauma & orthopaedics, rheumatology and therapies.

You will be part of the Divisions senior management team, working in a busy and fast paced environment and leading on the Operational management and strategic direction of the service. Wrightington is an identified specialist hub in Greater Manchester and a key organisation in support the recovery of elective orthopaedic waiting times.

Main duties of the job

The successful post holder will-

  • Ensure the provision of high quality, safe services in line with performance indicators is key to this role as you will be responsible for the operational delivery of all aspects of the Directorate including performance, finance and governance.
  • Have a high level of organisational skills with the ability to prioritise, be an excellent communicator and work well within a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Have a proven ability to lead and influence, and be able to demonstrate experience of people management at a senior level.
