An opportunity has arisen for an Anaesthetic ODP/RN to join a highly motivated multi disciplinary team within the Wrightington Theatre Suite . Our department is focused on delivering patient centred care, with emphasis on quality, patient safety and staff engagement.
Theatres are building a dynamic multi-skilled workforce and this position would look favourably at flexibility into Anaesthetics and/Recovery areas. .

Main duties of the job
To be eligible for this position you must be a registered nurse with a nationally recognised anaesthetic qualification or an Operating Department Practitioner. You will be enthusiastic, dynamic, motivated and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. We provide staff with training and development opportunities such as cell salvage, advanced life support and actively encourage CPD.
We area centre of orthopaedic excellence with 12 theatres with a plan to introduce a further theatre. The specialities are lower limb, upper limb foot and ankle and ambulatory surgery.
The role will require you to work across all areas in the Trust which includes those that are designated as positive, asymptomatic and negative areas.
