Job summary
We are looking for a Nursing Auxiliary to function as a member of the Multi-disciplinary Team by assisting the Registered Nurse's in the health care provision for sick children/babies and their families. We are recruiting to a 30 hour per week post based at the Royal Albert Edward Infirmary.
Main duties of the job
To develop self to meet the evolving needs of the service, ensuring efficient and effective use of all resources.To provide good, general "house-keeping" duties as directed by qualified staff Demonstrate under pinning theoretical knowledge within their clinical practice of infection control, health and safety, ethical and legal issuesDemonstrate adaptability of the role within distinct clinical environmentsRecognise the appropriateness of transferable skills when providing individualised high quality patient careDemonstrate application of professional attitudes in all aspects of care delivery within the clinical environment.Ensure compliance with mandatory training requirements in accordance with Trust policies. Undertake and regularly update Safeguarding training
