An exciting opportunity has arisen on Ward A at Wrightington Hospital for a Band 5 Staff Nurse.
There are 2 posts available, 1 x 37.5 hours & 1 x 25.5 hours per week on a permanent basis.
We are seeking a dynamic, enthusiastic and motivated staff nurse to join our team. You will be pivotal in ensuring safe, effective care to patient who have had elective orthopaedic surgery.
You will be working on our state of the art ward and will become an expert in the field of orthopaedic nursing.

The role will require you to work across all areas in the Trust which includes those that are designated as positive, asymptomatic and negative COVID wards.

Main duties of the job
The suitable post holder -
- Will work on a busy ward caring for post operative patients who have had Orthopaedic surgery
- Will be required to work closely along side other members of the MDT
- Will need to be a team player with good organisational skills
- Will be required to work along side the nursing team but also be able to work independently caring for your own team of patients
