Band 2 - Health Care Support Worker

Midlands Partnership NHS Foundation Trust has an opportunity to join our Adult Acute Mental Health Pine Ward at The Redwoods Centre Shrewsbury. Pine ward is a mixed gender adult inpatient facility of 15 beds which provides care and support patients of 18 years old upwards.

Main duties of the job

• To provide support, and spend therapeutic time with an allocated group of service users with mental health needs.
• To promote service user's recovery through the delivery of high quality, outcome measured care and evidence based interventions.
• To assist Registered Professionals in the implementation and evaluation of individualised care plans
• Regularly report and effectively communicate service users' health status and care aims in care records and verbal reports to Registered Professional Staff members and other members of the multi-disciplinary team, including while supporting section 136 assessments and ECT treatment.
